It’s actually a pretty painful process that I detailed in a tutorial a few month ago.

I originally wrote this tutorial to downgrade from i Phone 3.1 to 3.0 but the steps are exactly identical (Muscle Nerd confirmed this).

As always when a new firmware is being realeased, there is always a few unlucky people who “accidentally” update or restore to the latest firmware, thus losing their jailbreak and unlock.

In this case, you’d usually want to downgrade your i Phone from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 simply by downloading 3.1.2 and SHIFT Restore in i Tunes so that you can choose your own firmware to restore to.

Therefore, the only way you can try is to log in i Cloud with Phone Rescue and see if it can recognize any i Cloud backup.

If it fails, the only advice we can give you is backing up your i Device with i Tunes.

Something tells me Pwnage Tool is not too far ahead of us 😉 UPDATE: If you have an i Phone 3G, you can now downgrade from baseband to o4.26.08.The problem is that Apple recently stopped signing all previous firmware versions making it impossible for you to downgrade.Fortunately, Saurik has been smart enough to create a system to bypass Apple’s signature and making it possible for you to downgrade from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2. To see if it’s on file, launch Cydia and look at the top. If you don’t have this, make sure you look for a link that says “Make my life easier” on Cydia. This being said, downgrading an i Phone 3GS from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 is easier said than done.If you find your photos disappeared on i Phone i Pad after i OS 9 update, and you had made an i Tunes or i Cloud backup, you can get them back by extracting from backups, like: How to Retrieve Deleted Photos from i Tunes Backup And if you don’t have any i Tunes or i Cloud backup, you have to use Phone Rescue to scan your i Phone i Pad and see the deleted photos are still on i Device. Here is a detailed guide: How to Recover Deleted Photos on i Phone without Backup 3) Lost other data (like contacts, messages, etc) after i OS 9 update If you lose other data like contacts, messages, calendar, reminder, call history, etc., here you also get solutions to fix it.
